Terms of Service

Welcome to ClipAI. By using our services, you agree to all terms set forth below. Please read carefully — these Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and us.

1. Definitions

• "Platform", "we", "us", "our": The operator of ClipAI services
• "User" or "you": Any person, entity, or organization that registers for and uses the Platform
• "Services": AI script generation, image generation, video generation, voice synthesis, and related features
• "Content": All materials you input and all AI-generated output

2. Account

• You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to register
• Provide true and accurate registration info (including valid email), and update it promptly if changed
• You are fully responsible for your account security — do not share your password
• By registering, you agree to receive service-related emails (non-essential communications are opt-outable)
• Report unauthorized account access immediately to contact@clipai.tv

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you must not:

• Generate or attempt to generate adult, NSFW, pornographic, sexual, or sexually explicit content, including nudity or sexually suggestive depictions of any person
• Generate or disseminate content that violates applicable laws, including: intellectual property infringement, privacy or reputation violations, obscenity, violence/terrorism, hate speech, or discriminatory content
• Generate or spread false information, misleading content, or use the service for fraud or deception
• Create deepfake content intended to impersonate others, harm reputations, or interfere with elections
• Use automated scripts or bots to create bulk accounts or call APIs
• Reverse-engineer, crack, or bypass any security measures of the Platform
• Resell or sublicense our services to third parties without written permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or destructive files

4. Intellectual Property

Platform IP

The Platform's interface, logo, code, design, and algorithms are our intellectual property, protected by copyright, trademark law, and international treaties. Do not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your Content

• Your Input: Original text and materials you upload — IP rights belong to you
• AI-Generated Output: All content generated through our AI (text, images, video, audio) — ownership and copyright belong to you. Use it for any lawful purpose, including commercial use
• License to Us: A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely for: (a) providing AI services to you; (b) improving AI models with anonymized data. This license does not include public display or distribution of your specific creations

5. Credits and Payment

• AI generation tasks consume credits; exact cost is shown when you initiate a task
• Credits are obtained through purchase or daily grants. Purchase rates are as shown on the recharge page
• Credits are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash (unless required by law)
• Credit validity periods vary by type and are displayed at the time of acquisition; expired credits are automatically cleared

Refund Policy

• Task fails and was not cancelled by you → credits automatically refunded
• You cancel an in-progress task → credits are not refunded
• System malfunction causing duplicate charges → refunded after verification
• Some jurisdictions provide a cooling-off period for digital goods — contact contact@clipai.tv within 24 hours of purchase if credits are unused

6. Limitation of Liability

• Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• AI-generated content is produced automatically — we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or legality. Review before using or publishing
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits or data loss)
• Our aggregate liability (if any) shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or USD $100 if no payments were made)

7. Service Changes and Interruptions

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice
• We are not liable for interruptions caused by maintenance, upgrades, third-party failures, or force majeure, but will restore service as quickly as possible

8. Account Termination

• You may delete your account anytime in settings
• Violation of these Terms or applicable law may result in account suspension or termination
• After termination, you have 30 days to export your data before permanent deletion
• If we terminate without cause, purchased credits are refunded on a pro-rata basis; voluntary deletion or termination for cause — credits are not refunded

9. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States (without regard to conflict of law principles).

Region-Specific

• Chinese Users: Governed by PRC law. Disputes first through friendly negotiation; if unresolved, submitted to the competent people's court in the defendant's domicile
• EU/EEA Users: Your mandatory consumer rights under your member state's laws remain unaffected. The EU Commission's ODR platform is available for online disputes
• United States Users: Informal negotiation first; unresolved disputes through binding arbitration in San Francisco County, California. Parties waive class action rights
• Users from Other Regions: Informal negotiation first; unresolved disputes submitted to courts in San Francisco County, California

10. General

• Modifications: Material changes to these Terms will be notified via email and posted on our website. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance
• Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in full force
• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and us regarding the services, superseding any prior oral or written agreements
